SkillsUSA offers advanced training for students and advisors that focuses on professionalism, communication, and leadership skills. This training is held in Washington, D.C., and allows members to share their SkillsUSA and CTE experiences with elected officials.

WLTI activities include:

• Leadership and Professional Development (both students and advisors)

• Congressional visits (state officers and advisors)

• Tours of Washington D.C., including monuments

• Laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns

• National Statesman Pin work

• Evening Activities

While WLTI is open to any and all SkillsUSA students and advisors, it is typical for South Carolina that only the State Officers and their Advisor(s)/Chaperone(s) attend.
