Conference Overview

The SkillsUSA South Carolina Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) is held annually and is centered around the development of student leaders within your chapters, as well as, advisors within those chapters. Through various experiences and opportunities, we aim to provide our members with the tools to help their SkillsUSA chapters grow and succeed.


Dates: October 15-17, 2025

Registration Opens: August 25, 2025

Deadline to Register: September 26, 2025 @ 11:59 pm

To Register: Log in to the SkillsUSA registration site at www.skillsusa-register.org to complete your FLC registration.

Registrant Cut-Off (Maximum Registrants): 200 (see notes below)
Location: SC FFA Leadership Center (1069 FFA Circle Road, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582)
Cost: $150 per participant (Includes lodging, meals, materials, and activities)

  • Students will get leadership development training, an opportunity to earn the Statesman Award, participate in Mock Interviews, play games and participate in fun activities.

  • Advisors / Teachers will get specialized advisor training, association updates and input, an opportunity to earn the Statesman Award, assist with Mock Interviews, participate in fun activities, and gain credit hours towards recertification.

  • We will have prizes and giveaways during the conference!

How to Pay

​

Using a credit card: If you intend to pay by credit/debit card, please email that intent to Kimberly Jones (Finance Director) at skillsusasc.finance@gmail.com. Please be aware, if using a card or paying through QuickBooks, there will be a 3.5% fee added to the payment to cover the cost of processing the card.

Paying by check: Please print a copy of your invoice and mail it with your check to the address below. Your invoice can be found on the "SkillsUSA Register" by going to "Conference" and clicking "My Registrations." Be sure you have the correct event selected from the dropdown menu and then click "Show Invoices."

Statesman Award

The Statesman Award is open to both students and advisors. To recieve your Statesman Award, you must complete 4 tasks.

  1. Attend the South Carolina Fall Leadership Conference.

  2. Complete the pre-work which can be found below.

  3. Complete the Statesman Award test at Fall Leadership Conference.

  4. Complete a brief interview at Fall Leadership Conference.
