Courtesy Corp
SkillsUSA South Carolina is adding a Courtesy Corp to its State Leadership and Skills Conference. This is an opportunity for students, teachers, and others to volunteer for service hours and help with the setup, daily function, and tear-down of the state conference. We need volunteers to make sure the conference runs smoothly. The work of this group supports technical committees, conference committees, and state staff. This is a great opportunity for students to network with each other and gain service hours that they may need.
Courtesy Corp volunteers must follow any field trip guidelines that are required by their school and school district as it pertains to supervision. State staff or other Courtesy Corp leaders, while monitoring or assigning duties, are not chaperones. While a safety meeting will occur each day, the volunteers are ultimately responsible for their safety.
Courtesy Corp Volunteers may assist on one or multiple days. Housing and transportation is not provided by SkillsUSA South Carolina.
